Xena - Domestic Short Hair Cat

Shelter: BC SPCA - Alberni-Clayoquot Branch Animal ID: 525794 Birthdate: March 19, 2014 - Adult Spayed/Neutered: Yes Female Xena is a 7 year old black beauty who is searching for the purrfect home! She came into our care due to vocalizing and fighting with the other cats in the home. She is friendly but frisky, so probably no young children. Unfortunately, this beauty tested positive for Feline Leukemia, which is contagious to other cats. Xena is lucky as she is only a carrier and is not exhibiting any signs of being sick. Xena is such a sweet girl, she wants love all the time! She is quite large and the vet recommends a weight loss diet and to continue monitoring her weight since she is at risk for arthritis and diabetes. She used to live indoor/outdoor, but since she is a risk to other cats, she will need to be an indoor only cat. She may not approve of being indoor only right away, but if her new family introduces a harness or a catio, that may suffice!
