"THINKING LIKE A BEEKEEPER" Wow, year 7 of TLB, where has the time gone? This beginner to intermediate course is planned for the boardroom of the Coombs Fairgrounds starting Monday, January 27. 1014 Ford Road, 6:30 PM. The course is intensive and fun, it will run for 7 consecutive Mondays. 1/2 day field time when the weather warms up. All are welcome to attend; animal husbandry and bee experience are helpful. Honey bees are challenging. Honey bees don't make good pets. There is a need for good beekeepers. The rewards, when; knowledge is learned and experience gained can be tremendous. Where else can you keep a farm animal on 4 sq.ft. of protected south-facing land and have 'your bees' forage thousands of acres?
