Creative Salmon Farm Technician Tofino-based Creative Salmon wants to hear from people interested in joining the team as full-time, year-round Farm Technicians. Salmon farmers perform net cleaning, basic maintenance, assist during harvesting, feed and care for fish, operate boats and equipment. As the majority of the work is performed outdoors, the ability to tolerate all weather conditions is important. The Job Demand Analysis rates the physical demands of this position as &ldquoHeavy&rdquo so applicants must be sufficiently fit to cope with a physically demanding job. Because farming is a team effort, dependable attendance is key. Starting wage is $18.12/hour, jumping to $18.62 after 6 months. Company-paid benefits after a 90 day wait period.
