Creative SalmonWastewater TechnicianCreative Salmon is Canada's first certified organic salmon farming company. We require a Wastewater Technician full-time, year-round in Tofino, British Columbia (staff accommodation is not provided).The Wastewater Technician will report to the Biology Technician responsible for the wastewater treatment facility and will assist in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the fish processing plant wastewater treatment system including:Maximizing the potential of equipment and processesCollecting and analyzing samplesMaintenance, installations, and cleaningInspections and trouble shootingData collection and record keepingSome formal education preferred but we are willing to train an enthusiastic and reliable candidate with related work experience as well as problem solving skills, strong attention to detail, computer skills, respect for safety, environmental, and regulatory protocols, and a willingness to pursue additional training.The position offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience and a generous benefits package.
