Shelter: BC SPCA - Alberni-Clayoquot Animal ID: 494276 Birthdate: August 09, 2017 - Spayed/Neutered: No Female This gorgeous girl is Monkey, she is a young hound cross with the cutest half tail you'll ever see. Monkey loves her people once she gets to know you, she has such an energetic personality. She has met a female dog here and they have become best friends, but she has shown us she can be a bit picky about who she wants to be friends with. Slow leash introductions to new dogs is ideal for this girl. In her previous home she shared her space with cats. She also lived with kids, but we think a home with older kids would be best for this bouncy girl. Monkey would love a new family that has lots of time to get her energy out, and that would continue with obedience training. Monkey can get a bit anxious when left alone for periods of time. If you are interested in Monkey, our visiting hours are Monday - Saturday, 1pm - 4pm.
