Howdy! I am seeking a space (ideally out the lake or out creek) where I can spend a few months living and working on my bus. I am a single 30's female, converting a 1989 Blue Bird International Series dog-nose, six-window shorty into a tiny home. With me are my almost-three-year-old daughter and my almost-ten-year-old black lab mutt. The three of us have been living and travelling in the bus for almost a year already, but need some space and time to do some neccessary upgrades. We have woodstove, solar power and composting toilet, but would like to upgrade our plumbing to include running water, as well as upgrade insulation. The bus is about 24ft×9ft and I need about the same over again for space to work/play in. Parking for my daily-driver minivan would also be great. Ideally, we could work out some sort of trade in exchange for the use of your space. I'm a jill-of-all-trades if you require some home maintenance or caretaking. For the past 15 years I have provided caretaking and respite services for children and families affected by a variety of developmental differences, and have excellent references as to my trustworthiness and abilities. This includes ASD, FASD, Reactive Attachment Disorder, ODD, ADHD etc. MCFD Foster Parent for 5 years. High level first-aid certification (EMR), Class 4-5 Drivers license, mininivan and bus both insured with 3 million liability and comprehensive. Landcaping, land clearing, prepare your home for sale, etc. Childcare, summer programming, babysitting, housekeeping, farm hand, cooking, errands, rental cleaning, property security, etc are all options. Otherwise, I'd be looking at about $300-400/month for space and water. We are open to long-term proposals. We are open to discussing anything really :) I don't smoke tobacco or drink much alcohol, but do use cannabis as medicine.
