Reporting to the Manager of Community Planning, the Bylaw Services Officer contributes to the effective operation of ambassador and enforcement services in the municipality by identifying, investigating, mediating, and resolving bylaw violations; educating the public on municipal bylaws; providing information and assistance to the public; carrying out patrols; gathering evidence; conducting inspections of businesses; issuing warnings and fines; and preparing all documentation necessary for the effective enforcement of District regulatory bylaws.
