Spud - American Staffordshire Terrier Dog

Shelter: BC SPCA - Alberni-Clayoquot Branch Animal ID: 550686 Birthdate: December 21, 2018 - Young Adult Spayed/Neutered: No Male ** DUE TO A HIGH VOLUME OF INTEREST IN OUR ADOPTABLE ANIMALS, NOT ALL APPLICATIONS WILL BE CONTACTED ** Spud is finally ready to find his new home!! He arrived in our care as a stray with no ID and was never claimed. Upon our health exam, we found a mysterious lump on his tail that was a little concerning. The vet recommended sending the lump away for testing but the best way to remove the lump and for better healing, was to partially amputate his tail. Results are in and it turned out to just be a benign cyst. YAY for Spud!! We think his tail now adds into his personality. Spud is a very happy boy, he loves his people, and is very playful. He enjoys spending his days either inside the office on his big bed with toys, or outside on a nice day with his doggy girl friends. He can be reactive to other male dogs, as he thinks he is still Mr. Macho. Spud would do best in a home with out cats, as he would really love to chase them.
