It’s a one litre teapot, it has a glass thermos lining and a removable infuser. It is in new condition, very clean, no stains and no damage of any kind. I did a heat retention test by putting boiling water in it (210F). I checked after 5 hours and it was 175F. I checked after 14 hours and it was 140F, which is exactly the temperature recommended for drinking hot liquids according to the internet! It has a little raised dot thing to point at the spout for pouring along with the push button stopper on top. The infuser can be left in or removed after steeping the tea. The lid fits on with the infuser in and out. It weighs about 2 pounds. The handle goes down on both sides for ease of putting the lid on. It’s had very little use, and if you’re a person who wants your tea to stay very hot for a full day then this “fits the bill”! Zojurishi is a well known superior quality manufacturer in Japan of various kitchen items. Sadly like many companies, because of labour costs, are now having a lot of their products made in Thailand and other Asian countries. The quality just isn’t quite as good I’ve found. However this was made earlier when they made everything in Japan. It’s a quality teapot that will last forever!
