Shelter: BC SPCA - Alberni-Clayoquot Branch Animal ID: 541239 Birthdate: January 06, 2020 - Adult Spayed/Neutered: No Male *** DUE TO A HIGH VOLUME OF INTEREST IN OUR ADOPTABLE ANIMALS, NOT ALL APPLICATIONS WILL BE CONTACTED *** Meet this big guy Cooper! He came to us from a remote island, where he was left to roam and do as he pleased, when he pleased. Cooper is a giant puppy trapped inside a large 2 year old husky, shepherd cross body, he is a handful. When Cooper first arrived here, he was relaxed and content to be here. Now that he has made a new doggy friend he has come out of his shell and become a giant terror. Cooper may be dog selective, so slow leash intros to any new dog is highly recommended. Cooper is lacking most if not all basic manners, his favorite thing to do is jump up and grab your arm to keep it in his mouth as a toy. It is all fun and games to him but it can get a little out of hand because of his size. He will need someone who has experience and time with training, especially with the unruly, as Cooper is going to be a work in progress. If you think you feel you could meet Coopers needs, the first step to adoption is filling out the adoption application, which can be found at https://spca.bc.ca/survey/dog-adoption-application-alberni/
