1-bdrm sought by quiet, responsible, mature woman for Nov. in semi rural setting

I make a good tenant. It is likely that I will leave your place looking better than when I moved in. I am a mature woman with excellent references, bonded and financially stable. I seek a self-contained one-bedroom or studio apartment over a garage, in a carriage house, small cottage, or an above-ground unit within a detached house, rather than multi-unit complexes. I have been holding out for a place in a semi-rural area where I can be near a forest with walking trails and hopefully even a small lake. I am open to anywhere on the southern end of Vancouver island if it is as I described at a reasonable rent. I am willing to give up square footage to have a view, of at least trees and hopefully a sunset or pink skies. If it is long-term, I prefer an unfurnished or lightly furnished unit but am flexible. I must have access to a washer and dryer and can purchase these items if need be. I don't have a pet, but love cats and dogs if you do, I can step with their care if need be. I arrive with a helpful and positive attitude. I live a quiet, vegetarian, spiritually grounded lifestyle. I have multiple references available to attest to my level of responsibility, cooperation, and respect for rules, privacy, and sound levels. As mentioned, I leave places clean and possess a lot of common sense to apply to situations and run a safe, green home life. As an avid environmentalist, I recycle and compost everything. Since I am prepared to wait for the right spot, if you have something like I described above coming up further down the road, please keep me in mind and I can make arrangements for temporary digs until it is available. Either way, I am hoping to find a more permanent place to live for November 1st or 10th at the latest. I seek something within 5 minutes of a forest trail. It can be in an established neighbourhood with nice big lots with older trees and gardens, as that is living near to beautifully kept near nature and can often fit the bill. I'm a helper.
