EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY ACCOUNTANT The accounting firm VanderGaag & Bakker is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated accountant to join our team! We are a small accounting firm located in Smithers, B.C. serving clients all over British Columbia in a wide variety of industries. The ideal candidate would have a business-related degree and looking to start or have recently completed the CPA program. Public practice experience in either auditing or small enterprise is an asset. Responsibilities will include financial statement preparation and analysis of both compilations and reviews (including preparation of supporting working papers and documents), personal and corporate income tax compliance and planning, and various special accounting and tax projects. This is a permanent, full-time position. The annual salary range is $50,000 to $80,000.Full benefits package available and RRSP matching after three months.
