Coilpac 4.0 litre out of a 2005 or 2006 TJ & an NSG370 6 speed, & 231 t-case. Motor is very complete except that the starter motor & ECM are missing. The drivetrain is all in very nice condition & was all removed a couple of years ago for a swap into a project CJ, & plans are now changed instead for an LS swap. I can’t verify the exact mileage, as the drivetrain was all removed previously by an individual in Arizona & sold to a “Snow Bird” who brought the drivetrain & project CJ back up to the Port Alberni area this spring. Taking into consideration that this drivetrain is out of a 2005 or 2006 TJ & it’s extremely dry & clean, I would guess that it is a drivetrain with roughly 100,000 k.m. on it, more or less perhaps? This was all going to be installed as is & so I’m assuming that the drivetrain is in very good condition, but I would still go thru any basic inspections such as a compression check, & an oil pan & valve cover removal for further inspection & change out those gaskets after. It all looks to be in excellent condition & probably could simply see an install as is, but it still would be best to inspect, & although the tranny & t-case oils looked very good, & it all reciprocates nicely, a basic inspection still wouldn’t be a bad idea still? I’m not in a hurry to move this drivetrain & so I’m looking for reasonably solid offers & not just a few hundred dollars & so because the drivetrain is still on pallets in my truck a delivery could possibly be negotiated?
